This is just what will available in our current build. We will continue to add more objects and options. After launch we will release documentation and introduce ways to package up custom avatars and protect them so content creators can create amazing avatars for players to use.

Why this matters?

If you've used Zoom, Teams, or just about any other video conferencing software, you've seen background replacement. On the surface, Tabyltop doesn't seem to offer all that much more, but dig a little deeper...

• More than backgrounds

  Our system will do a lot more than background replacement. Foregrounds, environmental effects (rain/snow/wind), and special effects (blood splatter, fire, frozen, ect) are just the start.

• Setting the scene for the party

  Although players can set their unique backgrounds, the GM has the power to override the entire party's background. This creates the illusion that everyone is in the same location an increases the feeling that the party is adventuring together.

• Infinite options

  GMs can leverage WebGL Shaders to create their own effects. This goes far beyond static or animated backgrounds into amazing, mesmerizing video effects that would have no place in your normal video conferencing software.
